Let’s face it. No one drinks to feel bad the next day, and if you were thinking straight, you would stop drinking before you had too much. Easier said than done!

I’ve been paying the price for drinking too much for longer than I can remember, and I know as good as anyone what it feels like the next day…don’t even want to think about it. Over the years, I became smarter…but not smart enough to stop drinking…so I started toying with the idea of creating something that would allow me to drink and wake up feeling refreshed. I spent countless hours deciphering hundreds of scientific journals and publications that dealt with treating hangovers, cramming physiology textbooks as well as consulting with various physicians. Then, I began experimenting with an assortment of recipes.

Hundreds of tequila bottles later and after dozens of mornings swearing I would never drink again, I developed the most awfully tasting beverage ever, one of my best friends almost threw up when he tried it! We pinched our noses and downed “Formula 193″. Despite chugging down copious amounts of alcohol the night before, the morning after we both woke up feeling great. My roommate who didn’t dare try my newest concoction was not feeling too lively, so after we had him begging for Formula 193 for about 10 minutes, we gave him a bottle and had him slowly drink the contents over several minutes. About an hour or so later he was good as new…which was not necessarily a good thing…but we all knew we were on to something with Formula 193.
